YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January-April 2021 amounted to $2,170.3 billion, a 7.2% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
It said in April 2021 the foreign trade was up 47.5%, compared to April 2020 and up 12.9 when compared to March 2021. In January-April 2021, the foreign trade turnover in Armenian drams amounted to 1,139.3 trillion drams.
Armenian exports in January-April 2021 increased by 16.7% year-on-year to $818.7 million. In April 2021, compared to March 2021, it increased by 64.3%, and compared to March 2021 – by 11.9%. In AMD equivalent, exports in January-April 2021 amounted to 429.7 billion drams.
Armenian imports amounted to $1,351.6 billion, an increase of 2.2% compared to January-April 2020. In April 2021, compared to April 2020, imports increased by 39.1%, and compared to March 2021 – by 13.6%.
In AMD equivalent, imports in January-April 2021 amounted to 709.6 billion drams. ($1 – 520.58 drams). –0
