YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s position in the updated Passport Index, published July 7 by Henley & Partners, has not changed. The Henley Passport Index is a ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a visa. Armenia has retained its 80th place among about 200 countries.
Therefore, the holders of Armenian passports, as in the previous two quarters, have access to 63 countries without visa.
Japan continues to hold the number one spot on the Henley Passport Index with a score of 191. Singapore remains in 2nd place, while Germany and South Korea are in joint-3rd place.
Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria remain at the bottom of the index.
Henley & Partners, a London-based global citizenship and residency advisory firm, produces the rankings based on data from the International Air Transport Association. The association maintains a global database of travel information.
