YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has accused today Azerbaijan of breaching the third ceasefire agreement saying in a Facebook post that contrary to the efforts undertaken by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries aimed at establishing a humanitarian ceasefire in the region, the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan continues to ignore and violate all agreements reached for this purpose.
‘As in the past, the latest ceasefire agreement reached with the mediation of the United States and with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, which reaffirmed the responsibility of the parties to implement and observe the humanitarian ceasefire, agreed upon at the initiative of the Presidents of Russia and France on October 10 in Moscow and on the 17th October in Paris, was again grossly violated today by the official Baku,’ he said.
He said that in the second half of the day Azerbaijan resumed offensive operations along the entire length of the front line, using rocket and artillery weapons.
‘This all confirms that the Azerbaijani authorities, with the unconditional support of the Turkish authorities and the terrorist mercenaries, have no goal of resuming a peaceful dialogue and openly make it clear that they will continue military efforts to eradicate the Armenians in Artsakh.
Therefore, our national task is to fight for the safe and dignified existence of the Armenians of Artsakh in their homeland. The security and rights of our people are not subject to any concessions, and in this matter, our determination is above any kind of circumstance and desire,” he said. -0-
