Fourteen new COVID-19 cases recorded in Lebanon

For expatriates, who arrived on Sunday, April 5, no casualties has been recorded to date.

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Public Health announced that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has increased to reach 541 after 14 new cases were reported on April 6.

For expatriates, who arrived on Sunday, April 5, no casualties has been recorded to date.

The number of deaths remains constant at 19, and confirmed recoveries remain at a total of 50.

In addition, in Lebanon, which has been imposing a lockdown for weeks, security forces began implementing strict measures that allow vehicles with even or odd plate numbers to drive for three days a week each. Driving will be banned on Sundays to try limit the spread of the virus.
