YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia has approved today the release of 403 million drams as co-financing for road construction projects worth a total of 1.16 billion drams.
Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Minister Suren Papikyan said the money will be used to complete construction and repair of roads in Ararat, Kotayk, Tavush, Shirak, Armavir and Lori regions.
“We are monitoring the quality of the work, but there are problems. We have cases when after the announcement of a tender for the implementation of a project not a single company submits an application,” Papikyan said.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said no company apply for implementation of this or that project because virtually all such company are already busy ‘as we have already loaded everyone with numerous orders.’ ($1 – 476.76 dram).
