Khloé Kardashian has given birth to her first child, a baby girl, according to multiple reports.
The baby has arrived amid reports that Tristan Thompson, the father of the child, has repeatedly cheated on Kardashian. Mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian flew into Cleveland to be by her side through the delivery.
It’s been a long journey for Kardashian, who has opened up about her fertility struggles and treatments on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. However, when her marriage to Lamar Odom began to fail, she confessed she stopped trying to get pregnant. “I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage. I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into.”
She announced her pregnancy in December 2017 on Instagram, with a joyful, paragraph-length caption. “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along,” she wrote. In January 2018, she told Ellen DeGeneres: “I’ve wanted to have a baby for so long.”
Khloe Kardashian’s child isn’t the only new arrival in Calabasas: sister Kim recently welcomed her third child, Chicago West, and Kylie Jenner gave birth to her first, Stormi Webster, in early February.
