A magnitude-5.2 earthquake struck Turkey’s southwestern province of Muğla on Sunday, said the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The earthquake struck off the coast of the Marmaris district at 8:43 p.m. local time, originating at a depth of 61.41 kilometres, AFAD said.
There were no immediate reports of damage and casualties at the time this article was published.
This is the second earthquake in Muğla in just over a month. The southwestern province was hit by a magnitude 5.6 earthquake on May 19.
