www.turan.az-Baku / 23.05.20 / Turan: The Nagorno-Karabakh settlement is one of the formats in which the dialogue between Moscow and Washington is productive. This was said by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.on May 22 during an online discussion on the current state and prospects of Russian-American relations, organized by the A. M. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund.
Speaking about the state of Russian-American relations, the Russian diplomat criticized the United States for its intention to withdraw from the Open Skies Treaty (OST), noting that the current prospects for relations between Moscow and Washington are generally not encouraging. In this regard, the EADaily correspondent asked Sergey Ryabkov to comment on the “Karabakh context” of Russian-American relations, since both countries, along with France, are co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“There is more positive in this dialogue than any sources for sparking. Work in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group continues, and we appreciate this format. We continue our persistent work in line with the collective determination in the interests of achieving progress,” said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
