YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. Armenia dropped two notches in the Safety Index by Country 2021 rating from the 2020 rating to the 11 position. The annual rating compiled by the Numbeo covers 135 countries.
Of former Soviet republic Armenia is second only to Georgia, which is tenth. Azerbaijan ranks 32nd, Turkey 51st, Russia 52nd, and Iran 88th.
The top three safest countries are Qatar, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates. The outsiders of the ranking are Venezuela (last place), Papua New Guinea and South Africa.
