The miniature space for children’s play was opened by Nassand Association on Wednesday afternoon, September 1, 2021, with the presence of His Excellency the governor of Mount Lebanon, Judge Mohamed Makawi, Mayor of Burj Hamoud Mardik Bogosyan, and the president of the association, Mrs. Gheda Nawam A delegation representing the advanced emergency room in Beirut (Lieutenant Charbel) and a crowd of events and family.
Ms. Nawam presented the Assembly’s efforts, especially after the harbour exploded. Engineer Charbel Long presented the idea of miniature space for play and the way it was implemented.
Municipal Council member of Burj Hammoud George Krekorian said that the following crises affected all sectors of society, but the biggest impact of childhood, which deserves protection, and we have much greater rights, and thank the association’s contributions.
In conclusion, Judge Makawi expressed his pleasure to participate in the opening of this space, which expresses one of the simplest children’s rights with a safe space to play.
His happiness drew attention to the importance of civil society, local authorities and central administration to meet the needs of society.

Studied and designed the project by students from Schalmers University in Sweden, featuring a portable hologram as a play space for children, and helping them overcome trauma.
The project called Participlay features children’s participation in finalizing paint and planting stalls, as well as a small transportable space.
