The Syrian Army units engaged in fierce clashes with Tahrir al-Sham terrorists who intended to penetrate into their military positions in Atshan and Ma’an in Northern Hama, killing a large number of terrorists and forcing others to retreat from their military positions.
Meantime, the Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units pounded military convoys of Tahrir al-Sham in the towns of al-Mashik and al-Ziareh in Sahl al-Ghab in Northwestern Hama, destroying several of their military centers and vehicles.
The Syrian Army artillery units also heavily pounded a military convoy of Tahrir al-Sham in the town of al-Jobin in Northern Hama that was preparing for launching attacks on government forces’ military positions, destroying several of their military vehicles and killing all militants inside them.
The Arabic-language website of the Russian Sputnik News Agency also reported that the Syrian and Russian fighter jets launched consecutive attacks on terrorists’ military positions in Khan Sheikhoun, Sakik and al-Tamaneh in Southern Idlib, destroying their military positions, movements and communication lines.
In a relevant development on Monday, the Turkish Army dispatched new military convoys to Northern Hama as clashes between the Syrian Army and Tahrir al-Sham has intensified there.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted a Syrian Army battlefield source as saying that the Turkish Army on Monday sent terrorists and massive military equipment, including missile-launchers, to Northern Hama concurrent with reinforcing its military positions in Shir al-Magar region.
It noted that over 20 military vehicles, including armored personnel carriers, military equipment and logistical supplies were sent to two Turkey-controlled areas which are dominated by Tahrir al-Sham.
Al-Watan noted that the Turkish military supplies were dispatched via Kafar Lousin crossing, adding that the terrorists use the Ankara-controlled regions in Northern Hama to launch attacks on residential areas and the Syrian Army’s military points.
The terrorist groups stationed in Northern Hama also launched several rocket attacks on the city of al-Saqilbieh in Northern Hama, killing and injuring a number of civilians.
The newspaper added that the Syrian Army’s artillery units and air force responded to the terrorists’ attacks by pounding their military positions in Northern Mahradeh in Northern Hama as well as Khan Sheikhoun, Hazarin, Ma’areh al-Sin and al-Dara al-Kabireh in Southern Idlib. A large number of terrorists were killed and wounded in the Syrian Army’s attacks.
Meantime, the Syrian Army dispatched massive military convoys, comprising troops and heavy military equipment to Northern Hama, including al-Saqilbieh region.
