YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. The number of registered jobs in Armenia grew by 8,500 in May 2021 to about 635,000 and compared to May 2020 – by 37,000 (by 34,000 compared to May 2019 and by 87,000 compared to May 2018), the State Revenue Committee said.
The State Revenue Committee said the numbers are based on monthly calculations of individual income tax and social payments provided by taxpayers.
At the same time, in May 2021, compared to the same month of previous years, the tax base, the individual income tax and income per one job (tax base) also increased.
In particular, in May of this year, the income tax amounted to 134.7 billion drams, which is by 162% is more than in May 2020.
The income per job (tax base) in May 2021 amounted to 212,000 drams, which is by 16,000 drams more than in May 2020, it said. ($1-513.23 drams).
