https://radar.am-Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar referred to Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, “The complete settlement of relations between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey will create new opportunities for the Caucasus region. We hope that eliminating historical enmities will pave the way for lasting friendship and cooperation. However, we must consider the delicate situation. Although the conflict is currently frozen, the risk of entering into military operations increases as much as the conclusion of the agreement is delayed,” said the Turkish Defense Minister.
“If countries in the region and beyond decide to invest in peace, its political and economic benefits will benefit the entire region. Turkey would like third countries, including its Western allies, to either help with this new understanding or at least be wary of the prospect of politicizing the historical dispute and continuing military operations,” Akar added.
