Turkish officials will meet with foreign investors to thoroughly explain the government’s plans for the economy, Treasury and Finance Minister Lütfi Elvan said.
Turkey will publish a calendar of the measures it plans to implement within a week, Elvan said in a televised interview with the state-run Anadolu news agency on Tuesday.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the government’s plans for the economy on Friday, saying Turkey would focus on sustainable economic growth, boosting exports and measures to slow inflation, including reducing the budget deficit.
Officials will meet every three months to assess implementation of the reform programme and to announce progress to the public, Elvan said.
