Turkey is claimed to have carried out an air strike against a medical facility in Sinjar, northern Iraq leaving a dozen of staff members and civilians dead, pro-Kurdish news outlet Fırat News Agency reported on Tuesday.
The agency claimed that Turkish fighter jets bombed the hospital in the village of Sikeniye in the Yazidi town of Shengal (Sinjar) on Tuesday.
According to reports from the ground, the attack has resulted in injuries, while detailed information was not immediately available, ANF said.
Turkish aircraft also target the people who have rushed to hospital for the evacuation of those inside, ANF said.
On Monday, a Turkish air strike targeted a vehicle in the centre of Sinjar, killing a commander and a fighter of the Sinjar Resistance Units (YBŞ) and injuring three people, ANF added.
