Motor vehicle registrations in Turkey rose sharply in January from a year earlier, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported.
Registrations including cars, commercial vehicles, buses, motorcycles and tractors rose by an annual 24 percent to 117,313, the institute said on Tuesday. It was the highest level since July and the eighth-straight annual increase.
On a month-on-month basis, registrations increased by 38 percent from December, the institute said.
