The UEFA Executive Committee has lifted the ban on international matches in Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Football Federation of Armenia reports.
The two countries will now be allowed to host matches held under the auspices of UEFA.
The UEFA Executive committee made the decision at a sitting today. Given the ceasefire established on November 9 and all other existing circumstances, UEFA considers that the two countries now have all the conditions and opportunities to hold matches under the auspices of UEFA.
The European football governing body imposed the ban on any international matches in Armenia and Azerbaijan on October 20.
