France wins Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Armenia is 2nd

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Lissandro from France has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Yerevan with 203 points. The singer won the contest with the song “Oh Maman!”

Armenia’s Nare finished in second place with 180 points.

Lissandro’s victory gives France their second Junior Eurovision win following Valentina’s win back in 2020 with “J’imagine”.

The full results are as follows:

1) France: Lissandro – “Oh Maman!” – 203 points

2) Armenia (host country): Nare – “Dance!” – 180 points

3) Georgia: Mariam Bigvava – “I Believe” – 161 points

4) Ireland: Sophie Lennon – “Solas” – 150 points

5) United Kingdom: Freya Skye – “Lose My Head” – 146 points

6) Spain: Carlos Higes – “Señorita” – 137 points

7) Netherlands: Luna – “La festa” – 128 points

8) Portugal: Nicolas Alves – “Anos 70” – 121 points

9) Ukraine: Zlata Dziunka – “Nezlamna” – 111 points

10) Poland: Laura Bączkiewicz – “To the Moon” – 95 points

11) Italy: Chanel Dilecta – “Bla Bla Bla” – 95 points

12) Albania: Kejtlin Gjata – “Pakëz diell” – 94 points

13) Serbia: Katarina Savić – “Svet bez granica” – 92 points

14) North Macedonia: Lara feat. Jovan & Irina – “Životot e pred mene” – 54 points

15) Kazakhstan: David Charlin – “Jer-Ana” – 47 points

16) Malta: Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies” – 43 points

The winner was determined by 50% jury voting and 50% online voting.

The first voting window was open from Friday 9 December at 20:00 CET and closed on Sunday 11 December at 15:59 CET just before Junior Eurovision went live from Yerevan.

The second voting window (15 minutes) opened after the last song (number 16 in the running order) performed during the broadcast of Junior Eurovision 2022.

In jury votes, Armenia’s Nare received 5 points from Albania, 10 points from Ireland, 12 points from Spain, 2 points from Poland, 12 points from North Macedonia, 12 points from Kazakhstan, 4 points from Malta, 5 points from the Netherlands, 7 points from Portugal, 8 points from Serbia, 8 points from Ukraine, 8 points from United Kingdom, 5 points from Georgia and 12 points from France.

Online voting gave Nare an additional 70 points.

Armenia gave its 12 points to Georgia’s Mariam Bigvava.
