http://arka.am-YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/ NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will visit Armenia on Tuesday after visiting Azerbaijan on Sunday and Georgia on Monday, NATO press service said.
According to reports from Baku, during the meeting with Stoltenberg Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said his country is “closer than ever” to a peace with Armenia,
Stoltenberg reportedly encouraged Aliyev to seize this opportunity to reach a lasting peace agreement with Armenia.
The Secretary General will travel to Tbilisi from Baku, where he will hold meetings with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
On Tuesday, March 19, Stoltenberg will visit Yerevan, where he will meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
