Field sources in Aleppo reported on Tuesday that the terrorists in the region formed a new militant group named Kata’eb al-Majd affiliated to the FSA.
They added that the group consists of 2,000 militants, noting that it aims to attack the army positions in Aleppo and reoccupy the city.
Meantime, Abdolkarim al-Jassem nom de guerre Abu Laser was appointed as the terrorist group’s military commander and Ahmad Fatouh has been declared as the group’s top commander.
In a relevant development on Sunday, terrorist groups in Idlib and Aleppo provinces engaged in a fresh round of infighting amid intensified assassination operation that left a number of militants dead or wounded.
Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) stormed the positions of the rival terrorist group of Syria’s Liberation Front in the small town of Abin in Western Aleppo that inflicted major casualties on both sides.
In the meantime, a number of Tahrir al-Sham members were killed and wounded after a bomb-laden motorcycle blasted at an al-Nusra base in al-Saharah settlement in Idlib province.
Meanwhile, media activists reported that ISIL executed three captured members of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at in revenge for the execution of almost 30 of its members in Kafr Hend settlement in Idlib province.
