STEPANAKERT, May 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Sochi and discuss Armenian-Russian relationship development prospects, Pashinyan told journalists on Wednesday.
Earlier, the prime minister told journalists that he intends to attend the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council’s session that is to be held in Sochi on May 14.
«We had a very constructive, meaningful and interesting telephone talk with Putin yesterday, and we decided to continue our conversation in Sochi,» Pashinyan told journalists.
In his words, strategic and friendly relations between the two countries will be developing not only in a bilateral mode, but also in the frames of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia will be taking steps to enhance the effectiveness of these organizations, deepening relations also with its other fellow members of these organizations.
He said special attention will be paid to increase of trade turnover between the two countries.
