http://arka.am-YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo today on the sidelines of the first Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels, according to the Armenian government press service.
It said Pashinyan and De Croo discussed the current situation in the South Caucasus, in particular, the process of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the possibilities of unblocking the regional infrastructure.
Pashinyan presented to the interlocutor his government’s project “Crossroads of Peace” and the principles it is based on. The activities of the EU observer mission in Armenia in strengthening peace and stability in the region were highlighted.
The interlocutors discussed also a set of issues related to the Armenia-Belgium cooperation and highlighted the opening of the Belgian Embassy in Armenia and expressed confidence that it would give a new momentum to the multi-sector cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on Armenia-European Union cooperation. In particular, issues related to the democratic reforms carried out in Armenia with the support of the EU, the dialogue on the liberalization of visas were discussed.
