YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Armenian counterpart Ara Aivazian had a telephone conversation today to discuss the implementation of the agreements reached at the Moscow summit of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on January 11, as well as a number of topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda, Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, following four-hour talks in Moscow on January 11, signed a joint statement aimed at developing the region and reopening of transport communications.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Aivazian emphasized the full and immediate implementation of the obligation on the repatriation of the prisoners of war, captives and other detained persons enshrined in the statement of November 9, 2020.
