Voter turnout reaches 41.04% across Lebanon

Voter turnout in Lebanon’s parliamentary elections stood at 41.04% across the country with the closure of polls at 7:00 pm, the Interior Ministry said, with Interior Minister Bassam al-Mawlawi describing it as a low turnout.

Polls officially closed at 7:00 pm but voters present inside the premises of some polling centers were allowed to vote beyond that hour.

Below are the voter turnout percentages of every electoral district until 7:00 pm:

– Beirut I: 28.5%

– Beirut II: 38.33%

– Zahle: 43.02%

– Western Bekaa/Rashaya: 34.2%

– Baalbek/Hermel: 48.9%

– Jezzine: 44.9%

– Sidon: 39.85%

– Tyre: 39.97%

– Zahrani: 44.77%

– Bint Jbeil: 37.5%

– Marjeyoun/Hasbaya: 37.34%

– Nabatiyeh: 50.95%

– Akkar: 40.73%

– Tripoli: 28.22%

– Minieh: 35.11%

– Dinniyeh: 35.8%

– Koura: 35.03%

– Batroun: 47.12%

– Bsharri: 35.36%

– Zgharta: 36.16%

– Jbeil: 55.4%

– Keserwan: 56.4%

– Metn: 42.7%

– Baabda: 43.44%

– Chouf: 45.8%

– Aley: 43.44%
