We’re compiling data from all over the UK to help women suffering from hair loss
By Jamie Carson
Hair loss can be a difficult subject to speak about, but it’s a condition that affects women of all ages, as 70% of women over the age of 70 experience female-pattern baldness.
But it’s not just when you get older that this can happen. Female pattern hair loss can occur earlier, sometimes to women in their 30s and 40s. Unsurprisingly, this can have a negative psychological impact and reduce quality of life.
However, as the old saying goes, a problem shared is a problem halved. Which is why we’ve decided to kick-start the conversation around hair loss by asking you how you reallyfeel about it. Together with Regaine, a brand of treatment options for hereditary hair loss, we’re asking hair loss sufferers what it’s like to lose your hair, how it affects their day-to-day, and how they’re dealing with it.
Once the survey results are in, we’ll share them along with expert tips and advice, and together we’ll break the stigma around female hair loss.
